Product
Birch plywood (Riga Ply) overlaid with melamine film on both
sides; reverse side of the panel can be overlaid with phenol film.
Overlay colour
White or light grey.
Application
Transport industry: finishing works for walls and ceiling; furniture
components and tabletops, shop fitting and exhibition work, advertisement
and information boards.
Advantages
Surface is hygienic, without odour (smell), waterproof, resists
commonly used chemicals and UV rays. The surface is easy to clean
with water and steam.
Gluing classes
Plywood is glued with waterproof phenol formaldehyde resin adhesive.
Bonding is resistant to weather and boiling water. It meets requirements
of the following standards:
EN 314 /
3rd class;
BS 1203 / H 4 (previously WBP);
DIN 68705 Part 3 / type BFU 100.
Formaldehyde emission
In accordance with the standards EN 13986 formaldehyde
emission meets the Class E1 requirements. Test method EN 717
Part 2.
Surface overlay
Surface is smooth, glossy and hard. This product is not highly impact
resistant as the surface is fragile and may easily crack.
Edges sealing
Edges are sealed with acrylic paint matched with surface colour.

Cut to size panels, machining and processing up to ready furniture
components in accordance with the customer’s requirements.
Standard thickness
9*, 12*, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 35 mm.
* only melamine overlay on both sides for this thickness.
Tolerance
Size and right angle tolerance meets the standard EN 315
requirements.
